Medical Volunteer Opportunities Around the World

Medical volunteer opportunities are available in countries around the world, including many different organizations within the United States. The US Department of Veterans Affairs has medical volunteer positions available for those who want to give something back to American military veterans. The VA offers many opportunities for volunteers to use their skills and time to improve the health of veterans. /p>

For example, volunteers can help veterans through the VA Voluntary Service (VAVS) program, which is a part of the new United We Serve initiative implemented by President Barack Obama. Medical volunteering opportunities overseas are a great way for medical students and professionals to gain hands on experience and practice their clinical skills while helping those in need.
